The Flesh Hungry Dog Show is Gary Airedale's monthly live rock and variety show for queers and friends. Time Out Chicago magazine referred to The Flesh Hungry Dog Show as an “uber-inclusive, alterna-queer, mini-rock extravaganza” and “possibly the most diverse scene in the city." The mission of The Flesh Hungry Dog Show is to bring live rock (in all its forms) to Chicago's gay community, to provide a fun, alternative venue for GLBT bands, GLBT supportive bands, and bands that wish to reach out to a GLBT fan base. Additionally the FHD Show seeks to feature novelty and alternative performers of all types whose acts are strange, wonderful, queer or beautiful.
Running since 2005, the Flesh Hungry Dog Show is the first Friday of the month, and is the "must play" venue for local and touring acts who support our mission statement.
