| In 1982, Robert Drake was a co-founder and General Manager of Au Courant Newsmagazine, a weekly gay publication serving the greater Philadelphia area. In 1995, he created Q'zine on Philadelphia's WXPN-FM, a weekly queer arts & culture radio magazine, dedicated to educating listeners and celebrating OUT artists worldwide. Also in 1995, Robert developed the FIRST national OUT music program - with an audience of 7.5 million households, OUTsounds was broadcast each day via the Music Choice Digital Network - the audio channels that accompany digital cable subscriptions from companies like Comcast, Cox and others. |
