| Company founder Andrew Briskin was born in Los Angeles, California in 1968. Tango Blues Entertainment was born out of Briskin's animal production services company in Florida in the mid-90's supplying trained animals to film, television and print productions in South Florida, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico and Jamaica. Briskin has been involved in the entertainment industry as a production coordinator, photographer, director & producer for 16 years. His feature film production work includes such hits as Ace Ventura: Pet Detective staring Jim Carrey and The Specialist with Sylvester Stallone & Sharon Stone to Miami Rhapsody with Sarah Jessica Parker & Gil Bellows. His production experience includes work with publications such as L'Uomo Vogue, W and Interview to campaigns for Abercrombie & Fitch, ENYCE, Levis and Perry Ellis with photographers Bruce Weber, Kelly Klein and Karl Simone. Briskin's television producing credits include the British documentary Fabulous about circuit party culture and the comedy series Laugh Out Loud. Photographs by Andrew Briskin have most recently appeared in Premiere magazine and his first solo photography exhibit Countyline recently opened in Los Angeles, California. Andrew Briskin and Tango Blues Entertainment co-executive produced the dance maxi-singles from Debby Holiday titled Dive ( 2004 ) which hit #5 on the Billboard Dance charts, the #7 Billboard dance hit Half A Mile Away ( 2005 ) and Holiday's latest release titled Bring It On ( 2006 ) , which went Top 20 on the Billboard Dance charts. |
